Position: Machine OperatorPay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 /hourlyLocation: Lodi, CASchedule: Monday – Friday | 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm Job Description: The Machine Operator is responsible for operating rubber production machinery and ensuring the proper molding and processing of rubber products. This role requires safely preparing and placing rubber molding plates into metal machines, monitoring production, and transferring completed products to the inspection and finishing area. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a hot and humid environment, have basic math skills, and be able to read a tape measurer to ensure accurate production standards.Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and place rubber molding plates into metal production machines using proper safety proceduresMonitor rubber molding production to ensure products are processed correctlyTransfer completed rubber molding products using chains from the machine to the finalization and inspection areaInspect finished products and place completed items in the designated areaUse hand tools to trim, shape, and drill rubber products as neededTroubleshoot machinery or production issues and notify management if problems ariseMaintain safe and organized work areas throughout the shiftFollow company safety procedures and production guidelinesWork independently while providing updates to management regarding production issues or concernsQualifications:Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferredAbility to work in hot and humid conditionsBasic math skills requiredAbility to read and use a tape measurer accuratelyExperience using hand tools such as drills and trimming tools preferredAbility to follow safety procedures and production instructionsAbility to work independently and communicate effectively with managementAbility to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasksReliable attendance and strong work ethic requiredCompany DescriptionAfter 44 years of service and multiple locations throughout the Central Valley, Hedy Holmes Staffing Services has established itself as an innovative staffing agency that puts a premium on matching top talent with top employers.
