Position: Inbound Freezer Order Picker
Pay Rate: $18.00/hourly
Location: Fresno, CA
Available Shift(s): Sunday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
(Mondays are typically 10-hour shifts, with hours tapering off throughout the week.)
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as an Inbound Freezer Order Picker. This role is responsible for picking and packing frozen meat products, supporting production operations, and maintaining efficiency in a cold-storage environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in freezer conditions, follows safety procedures, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick and pack frozen meat products accurately and efficiently.
- Build and assemble boxes for product packaging.
- Work in a cold/freezer environment for extended periods.
- Assist production lines as needed by:
- Adding ice to boxes
- Taping and sealing boxes
- Moving pallets and materials
- Supporting general production activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety and food handling procedures.
- Meet daily productivity and quality expectations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, production, or order-picking experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to assist in multiple areas of production as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials as required.
