What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Mushroom Farm Worker position at Hedgehog?
We’re a mushroom farm looking for a part-time worker to help with general labor and harvesting. You will initially be hired for a trial period, transitioning into a consistent part-time position with shifts determined on a short-term basis. We will not be your primary employer, but are instead looking for people with the flexibility to help on a few shifts per week.
You will be responsible for mushroom harvesting, packaging mushrooms, and inventory management. You may also be asked to fork straw and prepare mushroom growing trays on certain shifts.
Candidates must be:
-Able to commute to Beechgrove, TN consistently
- Physically capable, able to lift 50lb. consistently
-Hard-working and excited about mushroom farming/agricultural operations
-Experience interacting with spreadsheets on a basic level is a plus
Wage: $20/hr.
