What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at Hedge of Protection Security?
A Good candidate for this position is Flexible, confident, and good with people. Customer service is important. Prior military experience and/or law enforcement, security experience is preferred. Security officers are responsible for protecting personnel and property, crowd control, and keeping the peace. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must have reliable transportation, a working cell phone and be able to lift over 75 pounds. Security serves the public so the ability to adjust to last minute changes and/or fill a customer's needs with little to no notice is a requirement for the position.
Other preferred skills are: Dependable, honest, healthy body and mind, and proactive vs. reactive.
**Must be willing to work nights and weekends.**
