What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Officer position at Hedge of Protection Security?
A Good candidate for this position is Flexible, confident, and good with people. Customer service is important. Prior military experience and/or law enforcement, security experience is required. An armed Security officer is responsible for protecting personnel and property, crowd control, and keeping the peace. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift over 75 pounds. Must be able to qualify with duty weapon at any time using the NRA standard course. Must be able to pass a drug screen at any time. Reliable transportation and a means to communicate are a requirement of the position. Security serves the public so the ability to adjust to last minute changes and/or fill a customer's needs with little to no notice is a requirement for the position. Other preferred skills are: Al Armed security license, prior training in self defense, customer service, Preferred traits: Flexible, Dependable, honest, healthy body and mind.
