Hecktown Service Center is looking for a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician to join our team! We are a locally owned, mechanic-run shop—not a corporate chain or dealership—so if you're ready to step away from the corporate automotive world and work in a more personal, supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Pennsylvania State Inspection License
- Emissions License
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Dependable, team-oriented attitude
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
- Conduct routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, etc.)
- Repair or replace worn or defective parts (brakes, suspension, engines, transmissions, etc.)
- Complete Pennsylvania state inspections and emissions testing in compliance with regulations
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess vehicle performance
- Communicate findings and recommended repairs clearly with service advisors or customers
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
- Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with shop safety procedures
- Stay up to date with evolving automotive technology and repair techniques
