Heck Construction Company, located in Lancaster, PA has an immediate opening for a Commercial Project Bid Coordinator to support various sized commercial projects. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end bid process, assist in developing compelling proposals, and foster strong subcontractor relationships. This role requires strong organization, communication, and project coordination skills to help secure new business opportunities and support our project teams. The Bid Coordinator will work closely with project managers, estimators, and operations to ensure alignment with company objectives and client needs. This is a salaried position ($45-55k a year) with full time benefits after 90 days.
- Assist Project Managers in preparing bid invitations, tracking bid progress, and following up with subcontractors.
- Support Project Managers with RFIs, meeting minutes, closeouts, permits, and other project documentation.
- Receive, organize, and file subcontractor quotes.
- Assist in gathering and organizing information for payment applications.
- Provide general support to the Project Management team.
- Prioritize work according to the needs of Project Managers.
- Maintain a consistent attitude of learning and developing new skills.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain a team-oriented attitude and positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Represent Heck Construction Company with honesty and integrity at all times.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively and demonstrate excellent follow-up skills.
- Assist in managing and organizing project information within Procore.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Procore.
