- Job Description:
We are a boutique fragrance brand seeking a professional and engaging Fragrance Promoter to support our in-store promotional events. The ideal candidate will warmly welcome customers, distribute scent strips, introduce our products with confidence, and help drive sales through excellent customer service.
Schedule: Saturdays, 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Location: A stand located in the Aland Store in the American Dream Mall, East Rutherford, NJ.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Distribute scent testers and proactively engage customers to introduce the brand
- Provide clear, informative explanations of each fragrance and assist customers with product selection
- Encourage participation in social media events and provide gifts to customers.
- Conduct sales during assigned promotional hours
- Set up the display table before the start of each shift
- Check and report inventory before and after each promotional session
Compensation
Daily pay varies based on total sales generated during the shift:
- Sales <-> Daily Pay
- ~$400 <-> 80$
- $401~600 <-> 100$
- $601 – $900 <-> 120$
- $900 – $1,200 <-> 140$
- $1,201 – $1,500 <-> 160$
- $1501 ~ <-> 200$
Average Saturday sales are $700-$1200. Sales can increase through active marketing by promoters.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of fragrance products
- Previous experience as a promoter or in retail sales
- Proactive, customer-oriented attitude with a strong motivation to achieve high sales
Requirements
- Warm, positive personality with the ability to engage customers comfortably
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Must arrive 10 minutes before each shift; repeated tardiness may result in termination
