Position Summary
Hebron Day School is seeking a caring, dependable, and faith-centered PreK Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will implement the Hebron Day School's Mission by providing a loving, engaging classroom environment where children can grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, mentally, and physically while experiencing God's love through daily interactions.
Schedule
Tuesday-Friday, 8:30am-12:30pm, plus select special events, programs, meetings and training sessions. School year starts September 1st, 2026 to May 20th, 2027, with holidays off.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children throughout the school day.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and classroom activities.
- Create a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, co-workers, and school leadership.
- Maintain student confidentiality and professionalism.
- Attend staff meetings, planning sessions, and required training, including CPR/First Aid certification.
- Participate in school events and programs throughout the year.
- Track and document student progress and development and conduct parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Model Christian values and demonstrate God’s Love through positive interactions and encouragement.
Qualifications
- Dependable, punctual, and collaborative team player.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Early childhood education, or related field, credential preferred. (CDA, Associates, Bachelors.)
