Job Summary:
The Working Shop Manager will supervise employees engaged in repairing and maintaining equipment. Coordinate and direct workload of the Service Department for maximum efficiency and productivity while providing quality repair work. Advises and recommends technician skills and training needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Instruct, assist and train service technicians in best practices of equipment repair and safety
- Process repair orders and warranties in a timely manner
- Repairs equipment and machinery as necessary
- Communicate with customers on repairs, warranty issues, and inspection.
- Maintain and build customer relationships and rapport.
- Perform inspections of completed repairs to ensure thorough and quality of work performed
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes
- Assist in working with technicians in obtaining certification and complete training needs
- Maintains database of maintenance and repair records for company vehicles and equipment.
- Oversees shop inventory; orders parts, shop supplies, and equipment.
- Ensures all applicable safety standards and regulations are followed in facility.
- Basic Maintenance of the shop and lot as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five years of related experience preferred.
- CASE IH technician experience preferred.
- Vocational or technical school training preferred.
- Valid driver’s license
