Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
- Experience as a Teacher
- Acknowledges Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Commits to faithful active service in a local orthodox, evangelical church and personal prayer and Bible study.
- Commits to model spiritual, academic, physical and social growth personally and professionally.
- Maintains a Christian lifestyle that reflects the biblical perspective of integrity and appropriate personal and family relationships, personal conduct and moral behavior.

- Teach classes as determined by administration.
- Assist with oversight of the upper school disciplinary program.
- Discipline
- Establish disciplinary procedures in conjunction with the Upper School Principals and Head of Upper School.
- Enforce disciplinary procedures for all 6-12 grade students.
- Ensure due process in disciplinary procedures.
- Familiarize students, staff, and parents with disciplinary procedures.
- Intervene in occurrences of inappropriate behavior of students by assisting students in modifying such behavior and developing successful interpersonal skills.
- Facilitate communication between personnel, students and/or parents for evaluating situations, solving problems, and/or resolving conflict.
- Assist with maintaining and updating the student handbook.
- Oversee/coordinate all detentions or in-school-suspensions.
- Manage quarterly random drug testing.
- Supervision
- Serve as a presence in Chapel to monitor student behavior.
- Supervise lunch periods along with assigned teacher(s).
- Oversee or coordinate all detentions or in-school-suspensions.
- Build and Maintain Collaborative Relationships
- Utilize meaningful feedback from students, staff, families, and community in the evaluation of school programs and policies.
- Assist with orientation of new staff and new students.
- Provide guidance to students through God’s Word to assist them in meeting personal, academic, and social goals.
- Work with students to build life skills, including conflict resolution and problem solving.
- Assist in other areas as needed.
