What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Farmworkers position at Hebert Farms?
Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps;operate crawfish boats; frequent stooping and lifting traps from pond; lifting requirement of 40 lbs. & repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. job duties for rice and soybeans: get land ready for harvest (plow, land level, laser level , ditch). All duties required for harvesting crop, washing and waxing equipment, cleaning up shop, and light mechanic workon equipment. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. All tools, supplies & equipment furnished at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract.Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
