Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter for a full-time position located on-site in Portland, ME. The Framing Carpenter will handle tasks including framing structures, working with power and hand tools, performing finish carpentry, and ensuring that projects meet quality standards. Responsibilities may also involve collaborating with team members to complete construction projects effectively and safely.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Carpentry and Framing techniques
- Experience using Power Tools and Hand Tools safely and effectively
- Skills in Finish Carpentry with attention to detail
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices and protocols
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various construction settings
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred
