Join an established private practice and provide meaningful outpatient mental health services within a supportive, collaborative clinical environment at our Heber Springs or Cave City office. In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and clinical counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and/or youth therapy services based on clinical training, experience, and areas of competence.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans informed by client needs and DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy interventions consistent with education, training, licensure, and competence.
  • Establish therapeutic relationships with clients and support progress toward individualized treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, physicians, schools, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
  • Provide clinical recommendations and referrals when additional services or supports are indicated.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and practice policies.
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems to document services, treatment progress, and clinical recommendations.
  • Participate in consultation, professional development, and ongoing improvement of clinical services.

Qualifications Required

  • Active Arkansas independent mental health license, including:
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Psychological Examiner–Independent (LPE-I)
  • Ability to provide outpatient mental health services independently within education, training, licensure, and scope of practice
  • Strong clinical documentation, diagnostic formulation, and communication skills
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based mental health practice

Preferred

  • Experience providing outpatient therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and/or families
  • Experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, grief, behavioral concerns, or other common mental health presentations
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches and individualized treatment planning
  • Experience providing telehealth services
  • Experience collaborating with schools, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
