As an Industrial Construction Project Manager II, you’ll manage multiple construction projects of medium to large complexity, with medium to large budgets.

We are looking for:

− a related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience

 − 8 years of experience in industrial construction

− ability to manage multiple projects of medium to large complexity

What is the work?

Project Management:

− Manages multiple, concurrent projects of medium complexity with medium to large budgets

− Manages all aspects of project development / closeout with the Manufacturing, Warehouse, & Transportation divisions, H-E-B business units, governing agencies, and vendors

− Develops project scope, budget, and schedule with appropriate internal customer

− Prepares request for proposal (RFP) for medium complexity projects

− Assists in preparation of project-specific unique Design-Build construction contracts for certain projects

− Coordinates / conducts project inspections during construction; reports on project status

− Ensures project cost control with a focus on cost reduction; assists in producing cost estimates and preliminary budgets

− Manages bid process for all projects

− Manages project scheduling and compliance

− Facilitates change management process

What is your background?

− A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience

− 8 years of construction management, or related experience

− PMP certification (preferred)
