About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor – Electrical to lead and support electrical maintenance activities in a heavy industrial manufacturing plant. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to implement reliability programs that ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise maintenance personnel, including technicians and electricians.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve electrical systems, equipment, and plant machinery.
- Implement maintenance systems such as Preventive Maintenance (PM), TPM, and workplace organization standards.
- Conduct breakdown root cause analysis and drive corrective & preventive actions.
- Manage electrical spare parts, vendor development, and upgrade projects for continuous improvement.
- Support installation, commissioning, and inspection of new equipment.
- Ensure training on electrical safety, Lockout/Tagout, OSHA compliance, and maintenance best practices.
- Contribute to SAP maintenance processes, documentation, and work planning.
- Collaborate closely with operations to meet production and maintenance goals.
Required Qualifications
✔ Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronics (mandatory)
✔ 5 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
✔ Strong hands-on expertise in:
- PLC Programming & Troubleshooting
- HMI/SCADA Systems
- Industrial Networking
- Motor Controls, VFDs, Electrical Schematics
✔ Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP maintenance experience
- Leadership experience supervising maintenance teams
- Vendor management and spare parts strategy
- Experience in heavy/continuous manufacturing environments
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Heavy manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, electrical systems, and noise.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must follow all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements.
