Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas (On-site)

Job Type: Full-Time | Day Shift (7 AM – 4 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will assist in accounts payable, vendor management, record keeping, and general accounting functions while ensuring compliance with company policies and deadlines. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in accounts payable processes including invoice tracking, vendor reconciliations, and payment remittance.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely check payments.
• Maintain and organize accounting and tax records (sales/use, income, and franchise taxes).
• Ensure compliance with sales and use tax requirements and collaborate with the tax team for accuracy.
• Manage W9 collection and documentation for new vendors.
• Support corporate credit card reconciliation and ensure timely reporting of expenses.
• Assist in treasury and accounts receivable tasks as needed.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with accounting policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (preferred).
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Must be located within a 50-mile radius of Little Rock, AR.

Schedule & Benefits:

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday–Friday)

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
