We are a vacation rental property management company based in Ocean City, NJ & Somers Point, NJ. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Rep to lead our sales and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, management, and business development. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, and fostering customer relationships to expand our market presence. The Sales Rep will play a vital role in shaping our sales strategies and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve company sales targets and objectives
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and prospecting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Oversee account management activities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, forecast revenue, and analyze performance metrics
- Conduct negotiations with clients to close deals that align with company goals
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that support sales initiatives
- Provide leadership and training to team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, management, or business development roles within a B2C environment (PREFERABLY A BACKGROUND IN HOSPITALITY, REAL ESTATE, OR SHORT TERM RENTAL EXPERIENCE)
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing accounts and tracking sales activities
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing a sales team
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable insights
- Exceptional customer service skills to foster long-term client relationships
- Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—across diverse audiences
