Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity.
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and assist with product demos when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies such as bags and receipt paper.
- Upsell relevant products or promotions to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone etiquette or in person.
Requirements
- Previous cashiering experience in restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends.
