Overview:
We are seeking for a compassionate and dedicated caregiver located near Darien,IL area to join our team as In-Home Caregiver. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by providing essential care and support in the comfort of their own homes. This is for anyone looking for par-time/full time hours.
Duties:
-Dementia care.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Personal hygiene/bathing, grooming, medication reminders, exercise.
- Caregiver must be a driver.
- Finger Printing Complete.
- Drive and accompany clients to appointments and outings.
- Perform light housekeeping, such as laundry etc.
- Engage in meaningful conversation and provide emotional support.
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
-Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes.
