Work a consistent Monday-Friday position- no weekends, nights, or holidays! Our childcare center offers PTO, paid professional development training, CDA and college tuition assistance through the TEACH program, and we provide staff lunch on Fridays!
Position:
- Infant Caregiver: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:30 pm, 1.5 hour break
Hourly: $13.75, based on qualifications and experience

Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of a Lead teacher, assistant caregivers are responsible for ensuring the children's safety and security assigned to their care. Our goal is to provide a happy and nurturing environment, not only for the children but also for our staff. We are looking for energetic, dedicated, motivated, loving, and dependable caregivers to fill this role.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care, education, supervision, and guidance to children
Requirements:
- Assistant Infant Caregivers must be at least 18 years of age.
- Up-to-date CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of employment. The employee covers the cost of this training. Heaven’s Elect will cover the cost of renewal certifications every two years.
- Before contact with children, applicants must obtain a comprehensive background check. Fingerprinting costs around $65, and the employee pays upfront. Reimbursement occurs after 90 days of employment. If employees leave before 90 days, they will not be reimbursed.
- Complete the required State of Michigan training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- One year or more of infant childcare experience
