The Specialist will focus on building Heaven Hill brand love and advocacy within target on-premise accounts in the local market. Advocacy wins with achieving long-term growth through education, events and relationships versus the traditional sales approach/ways of working.
In this position, you will champion premium spirits, including Tequila Ocho, Widow Jane Whiskey, Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond, Old Fitz 7 Year, Rittenhouse Rye, Mezcal Vago, and Bluecoat Gin.

In Washington DC, the expected compensation range for this role is between $84,000 - 94,000. Actual starting pay may differ based on non-discriminatory factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

How You Will Spend Your Time?
- Expand distribution and secure menu placements in key accounts.
- Lead staff trainings, trade education, and consumer experiences.
- Build strong relationships with industry influencers to grow brand presence.
- Collaborate with sales teams and distributor partners to execute market plans.
- Represent the brand at major trade shows, regional events, and national activations.
- Organize and deliver impactful brand education programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years in field sales, brand ambassadorship, or advocacy with established market spirits industry connections.
- Deep knowledge and passion for spirits; agave and whiskey expertise preferred.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends, with travel as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and able to use technology for presentations, tools, and reporting.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license required
