Hiring In-Office Senior Litigation Attorney
Location: Downtown Orlando, Florida (In-person)

The Heatwole Law Firm, PA, a boutique litigation firm in downtown Orlando, is looking to add a full-time Senior Attorney to our close-knit, highly collaborative team. Founded in 2012, our mission is to deliver Compassionate Justice® to individuals and businesses across Central Florida. We focus on commercial/business litigation and family law, combining strong advocacy with personal attention to every client.
We are seeking an experienced litigation attorney who is professional, client-centered, and thrives in a team-based environment.
The ideal candidate either has experience in commercial/business litigation or in family law experience, and has a passion for helping clients navigate complex legal matters with care and integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of commercial/business or family law litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, etc.
- Conduct legal research and incorporate into pleadings
- Attend/handle court hearings, mediations, and depositions
- Maintain accurate case files and work closely with team members to meet deadlines and client goals
- Review discovery and formulate strategic case plans
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years’ experience handling litigation matters (ideally either business/commercial litigation or family law)
- Litigation experience (including courtroom appearances)
- Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Strong knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and relevant Florida Statutes
- Excellent legal writing, research, and communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple matters in a fast-paced setting
- High level of integrity, professional accountability, and commitment to ethical practice
- Experience with mediation and negotiation, with a confident and measured approach to conflict resolution
- A team player who is proactive, collegial, and committed to client service

Compensation range $90,000-$120,000 annually depending upon scope of litigation experience and qualifications.
