We are currently seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant to join our team. This role reports directly to the Community Manager and serves as the primary point of contact for both current and prospective residents. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and experienced in sales, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to project and explain rent increases confidently.
Requirements:Responsibilities and Duties
- Warmly meet and greet prospective residents and provide tours
- Effectively showcase the benefits of the apartments and community
- Effectively communicate with prospects to help them find an apartment to call home
- Guide prospects through the application process
- Conduct background and credit checks on applicants
- Prepare and execute lease agreements
- Schedule appointments for move-in and create move-in packets
- Must be able to travel to other locations (as needed)
- Execute competitive shopping
- Experienced with lease renewals preferred
- Respond to property management emails, calls, and in-person resident visits
- Plan and execute resident activities and events
- Traveling between sites required
Qualification
- Strong customer service
- Familiar with Yardi software (preferred)
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- Detail Oriented and able to follow through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Computer skills and phone skills
Education
- High School diploma or equivalency (GED) required
- 1 years of customer service or sales experience a must
- Associate degree or higher preferred
