Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Heath Springs, SC. for a Certified Medication Aide. The Certified Medication Aide will be responsible for safely administering prescribed medications to residents, monitoring their health and well-being, and assisting with daily care tasks such as vital signs tracking and infection control protocols. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation of medication administration and communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers to support high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Aide with knowledge of medicine administration.
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and implementing infection control procedures.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining resident safety and comfort.
- Basic knowledge of senior care regulations and guidelines is a plus.
- Flexibility to work in a team-driven environment and adapt to diverse care needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
