Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Laundry Services: Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and residents' personal clothing, ensuring all items are cleaned according to facility standards.
• Sorting & Inventory: Sort and organize laundry based on type and owner. Maintain accurate records of resident laundry requests and items.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure laundry rooms are kept clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Follow all safety and sanitation protocols when handling laundry equipment.
• Supply Management: Assist with maintaining an adequate supply of linens and clothing for residents. Report any shortages to management.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure that laundry operations are carried out efficiently and that residents’ needs are met in a timely manner.
• Resident Engagement: Handle resident laundry with care, ensuring their items are returned in a timely and respectful manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience (preferred)
• Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow cleaning guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
