This role produces, publishes, and maintains high-quality web content that supports ecommerce operations, campaigns, and the overall customer experience.Position SummaryThe Web Content Producer manages and produces content for Heath’s website, ensuring it reflects our brand, product story, and digital strategy. This role is responsible for adding, editing, and organizing web content including new product launches, merchandising collections, and site wide updates to create a clear, accurate, and visually consistent customer experience.Working closely with the Web Manager, Buyer, and Creative teams, the Web Content Producer serves as a steward of Heath’s visual and editorial standards. They support daily ecommerce operations, assist with photoshoot preparation, contribute to SEO and accessibility improvements, and help deliver digital initiatives that keep the site fresh, functional, and aligned with our storytelling.ResponsibilitiesProduce, publish, and update product and collection content on the website using established templates and guidelinesMerchandise products visually and categorically to support storytelling, navigation, and the overall customer experienceWrite and edit product descriptions, specifications, and supporting content with accuracy, clarity, and alignment to Heath’s editorial standardsResearch and gather accurate product information for Heath Dinnerware and Heath Home items to support complete and detailed website listingsMaintain sitewide accuracy across product data, images, content updates, and ongoing proofingExecute web changeovers and updates tied to campaigns, product launches, and seasonal refreshesSupport special digital projects, including new feature launches and improvements to site structure or workflowPartner with Digital Operations on SEO and accessibility updates to improve searchability and usabilityAssist with ecommerce photoshoots, including sample coordination and day-of preparationCollaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of web contentSupport additional web content or ecommerce projects as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience in web content production or ecommerce3–5 years of experience in online merchandising, website content production, or ecommerce for physical products, preferably in home goods or multi-category retailExperience updating websites using content management systemsBasic front-end development familiarity (e.g., web image optimization, HTML/CSS)Knowledge of SEO best practices for ecommerceStrong ecommerce merchandising skills with a customer-first mindsetExcellent copywriting, editing, and proofing abilitiesHigh attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistency and accuracy across large volumes of contentStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with quick turnaroundsCuriosity, problem-solving ability, and comfort working through ambiguityNice to HaveEcommerce photo editing skills, including cropping, clipping, resizing, and color correctionExperience maintaining ecommerce sites like Shopify, Matrixify, Accentuate, or FigmaWork Environment, Hours, & Compensation This is a full-time, exempt position, Monday through Friday during business hours. While we embrace a hybrid work model, in-person collaboration is a valued part of our culture. Three remote workdays per week are available with potentially more onsite days as needed based on projects. This role is based out of our San Francisco office. The salary range for this position is $87,000 – $92,000, based on experience.BenefitsWe are committed to your health and well-being.
