What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workday Integration specialist position at HEAT?
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Hands-on experience in building and supporting Workday integrations using PECI, EIB, Core Connectors, Studio and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)
- Strong knowledge of Workday Core HCM data structures
- Experience working in modules such as HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting & Time Tracking
- Experience in outbound payroll data integrations from Workday to third-party payroll providers
- Experience importing third-party payroll documents into Workday, including Payslips, annual tax documents & Payroll Statements
- Experience in Workday tenant-to-tenant migration projects
- Ability to extract, transform, validate, and load data between Workday tenants
Strong XML, XSLT, JSON, and API integration knowledge Good To have:
- Workday Studio certification
- Workday Integration certification
- Workday Payroll certification
SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1 Design, develop, and support integrations between Workday and ADP Third-Party Payroll systems.
2 Configure and maintain payroll outbound integrations using PECI, Workday Studio, EIB, and APIs.
3 Analyze, map, transform, and validate data across Workday modules including HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Time Tracking, and Payroll
4 Develop migration strategies, conversion templates, data validation scripts, and reconciliation reports
5 Support mock conversions, cutover planning, and production deployment activities
6 Design, build, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Web Services APIs
7 Troubleshoot integration failures and provide timely resolution of production issues
8 Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
