Position Overview
We are seeking a Technical Project Coordinator (Preconstruction) to support our design, estimating, and submittal processes.
This role works closely with the company president and field teams to prepare project documentation, perform takeoffs, create layout drawings, and assemble professional submittal packages for our contractor partners.
This position combines responsibilities that would be split across multiple roles (estimator, project engineer, project coordinator) in a larger company.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare heat trace submittal packages, including drawings, data sheets, and bills of material
(job-specific training provided for heat trace systems)
- Perform quantity takeoffs from mechanical, plumbing, and electrical drawings
- Create and edit layout drawings using Bluebeam Revu (AutoCAD experience a plus)
- Maintain organized project folders using company templates and standards
- Ensure document consistency, accuracy, and professional presentation
- Support leadership with project tracking, workflow coordination, and documentation
- Assist with light branding and visual materials for print and digital use (as needed)
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Commercial construction
- MEP estimating or coordination
- Project engineering or drafting
- Technical design or documentation roles
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, plumbing, and electrical drawings
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu (required)
- AutoCAD experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Teachable attitude and commitment to excellence
