Your Impact
Your Impact Drives supplier quality excellence and strengthens supply chain performance by ensuring new and existing suppliers meet rigorous technical, manufacturing, and quality standards—reducing defects, improving reliability, accelerating NPI readiness, and supporting overall operational efficiency.
- Facilitates technical capability assessments of potential suppliers to verify alignment with company quality standards and contributes to data‑driven supplier selection.
- Conducts and reviews critical quality and manufacturing documentation, including DFMAT, SAF, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, PV&V, FAI, LRA, and SICR, ensuring robust process control and compliance.
- Develops, executes, monitors, and controls APQP plans within the NPI process to ensure consistent product quality and successful program launches.
- Contributes to the development of Supplier Project Books, clearly defining quality deliverables, technical expectations, and process requirements.
- Facilitates collaboration between R&D and suppliers through DfX initiatives to enhance manufacturability, design robustness, and innovation.
- Ensures Critical to Quality (CtQ) characteristics are clearly communicated, properly controlled, and consistently maintained throughout the production lifecycle.
- Coordinates Part Submission Warrant (PSW) activities—including planning, documentation, line releases, and completion—to secure approval of parts that meet specifications and readiness benchmarks.
- Leads supplier improvement and development efforts in APQP, providing guidance and support to elevate supplier capabilities and ensure adherence to production quality standards.
You’ll thrive in the role if:
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline or a business‑related field.
- 5 years in supplier quality experience in a regulated environment (medical device, aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, or similar).
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to navigate complexity and drive effective solutions.
- Comfort working with and influencing leadership, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven experience in working with suppliers.
- Self-starter, can influence stakeholders, ability to flex and collaborate across global, distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.
- This is a hybrid-based role.

- CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
- ASQ certifications: CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and CQA (Certified Quality Auditor)
Heartstream Pay Transparency
The pay range for this position is $141,000 to $227,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Heartstreams Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Heartstream, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
