Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Caregiver/Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and personal care. Duties
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote comfort and dignity
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are respected
- Manage medication reminders and help organize medical appointments to support health management
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Monitor safety hazards around the home and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents
- Document care activities, health changes, and any incidents accurately for ongoing communication with family members or healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving or personal assistance roles is preferred but not mandatory; a compassionate attitude is essential
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to individual care plans with flexibility
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, or assisting with mobility
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR certifications are a plus but can be provided if necessary
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility for client safety and well-being
