- Client Satisfaction: Ensuring all activities and interactions result in the highest level of client satisfaction.
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
- Handle and restrain horses safely and effectively.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Monitor the health and behavior of horses.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and work areas.
- Provide client education on horse care and health.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with horses and knowledge of equine care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
