Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
- Active or obtainable Mississippi veterinary license.
- DEA/BNDD eligibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, courteous, and respectful attitude toward clients and team.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. independently and over 25 lbs. with assistance.

Key Responsibilities
- Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose disease or injury.
- Operate diagnostic equipment, collect and interpret laboratory samples and imaging.
- Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options
- Perform surgeries and prescribe medication when appropriate.
- Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, clinic policies, and governing regulations.
