Role Description The Route Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Omaha, NE. This position is responsible for visiting assigned customer locations on a regular schedule, promoting tire and tread products, and managing sales orders to meet customer needs. The representative will build and maintain strong relationships with fleet managers and drivers, provide product recommendations, and ensure timely delivery and inventory rotation. Daily activities include driving a company vehicle, performing basic product inspections, processing paperwork and digital records, and coordinating with the warehouse and dispatch teams. The role also involves identifying new sales opportunities along established routes, resolving customer issues, and supporting overall territory growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships, communicate clearly, and provide responsive service.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a focus on meeting targets and growing assigned routes.
- Basic knowledge of transportation or commercial vehicle operations; tire industry experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to safely operate company vehicles.
- Ability to manage route schedules, handle order documentation accurately, and use basic computer or mobile applications.
- Physical ability to lift and move products as needed and work in a warehouse or outdoor environment.
