The Community Partnership Committee exists to build and sustain meaningful relationships with community partners in the Kansas City special needs community and to oversee the strategic distribution of grant funding to people and organizations who have applied to the foundation for a grant aligned with the mission of the Heartland Special Needs Foundation. This committee is responsible for developing a clear and transparent process for grantmaking, identifying and cultivating partnerships that increase the Foundation’s visibility and impact, and evaluating the effectiveness of its efforts on an annual basis.
