Bilingual Receptionist II
Primary Responsibility
The Bilingual Receptionist II will answer incoming phones calls, transcribe recorded statements and translate for Spanish speaking callers who are assigned to English speaking adjusters.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to claimants, clients, medical providers and the adjusters in claims handling.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, clients and medical providers.
- Transcribe recorded statements, emails and other correspondence.
- Process incoming faxes.
- Assist supervisors with special projects.
Additional Functions & Responsibilities
- Assist the Customer Service Department on projects during the year. This can include attendance at the office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- 1 year of office experience.
- Previous experience handling a busy, multi-line phone system required.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet timed deadlines.
- Computer skills include fast, accurate data entry and basic to intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written along with a professional demeanor.
- Must be bilingual Spanish/English.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college course work is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and meet timed deadlines.
- Skills in fast and accurate data entry.
- Basic to intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
