Sales Assistant – Service Oriented, Customer Focused and Relationship Driven.
Hours: 7am-4pm; Monday through Friday with rotating weekends (details provided during the interview).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales Support: Support the Sales and Purchasing teams in managing customer and vendor accounts.
- Communication: Communicate daily with customers and vendors in a professional and accommodating manner. May include calls to existing and prospective customers to support sales goals.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong working relationships to ensure exceptional service and results.
- Serving our Customers and Vendors: Resolve customer and vendor inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Data Entry: Perform data entry for sales orders, purchase orders, and price lists.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports to track customer and vendor trends.
- May be required to perform additional duties as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or marketing is preferred.
- Previous produce experience preferred.
- Strong ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and grow—we’ll provide training to match job expectations!
