Merchandising Territory Manager FT - Milwaukee, WI (metropolitan area)

Territory Manager – will be entrusted with managing day-to-day projects that build long-term relationships with our retail partners and team of merchandisers to contribute to the organization’s overall success. This entails managing and developing a strong work crew while actively promoting new products and sales opportunities to our clients. Responsibilities include monitoring team production for merchandising and correctly scheduling staff in alignment with these goals. The manager will be responsible for the overall conditions of our product and the presentation of our merchandising displays at each location they oversee (covering the Milwaukee metropolitan area).

Hours: 6 am to 3 pm, a 5 to 6-day work schedule as needed. The schedule will be discussed in further detail upon interview (must be available on weekends).

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Effectively partner with store personnel for the scheduling and communication of resets

· Daily communication (meetings, emails, calls, etc.) with customers and crew members is vital for day-to-day operation

· Identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activity while communicating with the inside sales team

· Contacting and hiring of new staff through job posting services

· Scheduling of staff members in your assigned territory

· Report and discuss observations and issues with the area merchandising director

· Must have a deep understanding of customers’ and employers’ company policies and procedures, as well as ensure team members’ adherence to standards

· Quality control inspections – ensure the product being displayed is consistent with company and customer expectations

· Help create, organize, and maintain promotional displays

· Create and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with policies and procedures 

· Monitor daily tasks and change course as needed for timely project completion

· May be required to perform additional duties as needed

Job Qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent required

· Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record in accordance with company standards (subject to motor vehicle record review)

· Required to travel to multiple store locations

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis – bend, stretch, stoop, twist as needed

· Ability to stand for 8 to 10 plus hours

· Produce experience – 2 years’ experience

· Retail supervisory role experience – 2 years’ experience

· Retail merchandising experience – 5 years’ experience

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) in some locations – speak, read, and write preferred

· Excellent time management and attention to detail skills

· Strong communication and interpretation skills

· Committed to providing excellent customer service

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Must be self-sufficient and a self-starter
