The Plumber will diagnose, repair, and install residential and light commercial plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, water heaters, and drains. Daily tasks include responding to scheduled service calls, performing maintenance and repair work, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all work meets safety and code requirements. The role also involves accurately communicating findings and options to customers, providing honest recommendations, preparing basic documentation of work performed, and maintaining company vehicles, tools, and materials in clean and safe condition. Qualifications
- Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and code-compliant repairs for residential and light commercial systems.
- Experience working with pipes, fittings, and related materials, including cutting, assembling, and joining pipes safely and accurately.
- Proficiency in maintenance and repair, including preventive maintenance, leak detection, fixture replacement, and system diagnostics.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, set expectations, and provide honest, solution-focused recommendations.
- Relevant plumbing license or certification for the state of Kansas (or ability to obtain), and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
