Heartland Industries of Alexandria, MN
A Heartland Industries Direct Support Professional must be caring, compassionate, flexible, and have great people skills to support individuals with disabilities by modeling behaviors to help them gain skills and maintain employment. Some driving, nights, and weekends are required. Must be 21 or older and have a Driver's License/No driving violations in the past 3 years. Must be able to pass a background check. All required training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Working alongside persons with disabilities to obtain and keep meaningful employment within the community.
- Completing accurate charting
- Document all client information - daily progress notes, program goal charting, communication notes, and other information as needed.
- Safely transport clients as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.75 per hour
