What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Coordinator position at Heartland Human Services?
Heartland Human Services, Effingham's leader in behavioral health care services for over 55 years is seeking a fulltime Residential Coordinator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, social work, RN, or other human service field. An associate degree with prior work experience and a mental health professional according to Medicaid Rule 140 is acceptable. Experience in the field of human services and counseling experience through a completed internship or previous work experience is required. Shall demonstrate an adequate level of competency and shall continue to increase in skill and competence. Shall demonstrate sound and prudent judgement in decisions regarding consumers and staff, must be able to work independently. Capable of performing basic computer skills necessary and must be able to understand commonly used computer software applications.
Responsibilities include: assuming the duties and responsibilities necessary for the coordination of efective and efficient services to the consumers of the Supervised Residential Program, as well as those community clients participating in the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program. Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and have a valid driver's license.
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
