Relationship Development - You are the “final contact” with a Heartland customer. Their experience with you will be their final impression of Heartland and may determine whether or this customer returns and becomes a lifelong Heartland customer. You are “boots on the ground” for maintaining positive relationships with our customers.
Delivery and Installation – Making sure the appliances, of all types and brands, are in good physical condition and working order and prepared to serve the needs of our customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Shares exceptional customer service best practices with all customers while also modeling the values of Heartland Hardware, Appliance, and Repair.
- Prepare appliances for loading and unloading.
- Work in a team setting delivering and installing appliances.
- Helping maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Operate company van safely and respectfully. Update General Manager for service or repairs.
- Interact and communicate with customers and fellow Heartland employees clearly and respectfully.
- Track daily/weekly jobs for payroll purposes.
- Comply with all Heartland policies, procedures, and practices.
- Performs tasks and assignments requested by the General Manager and ownership.

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and customers in any situation.

- The industry is constantly changing - monthly webinars and in-person training as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to regularly lift 100 lbs.
- Ability to respond appropriately under pressure.
- Make a professional impression using effective verbal and written communication. Exude confidence and comfort in interacting with all associates.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
