- Job Summary:
This is a professional position responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing requests for Out of County Services (OCS) in Polk, Highlands and Hardee Counties.
- Essential Functions:
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationship with HFC customers
- Receive, research and process requests for home studies, case plan assistance and supervision from case managers for out of Circuit
- Receive, research and process requests from other districts and/or states for placement of children, home studies and case plan assistance
- Ensure that other counties understand the need for timely completion of home studies and/or courtesy supervision
- Act as the liaison and be in constant communication with other states and counties on an on-going basis
- Maintain tracking records of paperwork and communication for all incoming and outgoing requests
- Serve as backup for live scan fingerprinting and the ICPC specialist position
- Provide weekly and monthly updates and/or reports of incoming and outgoing requests
- Perform special projects as assigned
- Qualifications Required:
HS Grad or GED required.
- Qualifications Preferred:
Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field strongly preferred. Two years of experience working with children, adolescents and families is strongly preferred. Case management experience is most desirable.
