Position Summary
Heartland Fabrication, LLC is seeking a dependable and skilled Welder to join our fabrication team. The Welder is responsible for fitting, welding, and fabricating steel components and assemblies according to drawings, specifications, and company quality standards.
This position requires the ability to read fabrication drawings, accurately measure and fit components, produce quality welds, and work efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication shop. The ideal candidate takes pride in their workmanship, works safely, and understands the importance of producing accurate parts the first time.
What you'll do
- MIG weld
- Fit and fabricate from prints
- Work with plate, tube, angle, channel and structural components
- Measure, tack, square and verify your own assemblies
- Use normal fabrication equipment and tools
- Inspect your own work for quality
What we're looking for
- Previous MIG welding/fabrication experience
- Able to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Able to fit and fabricate independently
- Comfortable with tape measurements, fractions and shop math
- Dependable attendance and good workmanship
Schedule & Benefits
This is a first-shift, full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Starting pay: $24–$28/hour, based on experience.

Heartland Fabrication offers a hands-on shop environment where you'll work on a variety of fabrication projects as part of a close-knit team.
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
