We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Concrete Finisher, Laborer Excavating, and Concrete Specialist to join our construction team. Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by excavating, grading, and setting up forms for concrete pouring.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and concrete pumps safely and efficiently.
- Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics to ensure structural integrity.
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces with precision using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project specifications accurately.
- Perform finishing tasks including smoothing, sealing, caulking, and applying surface treatments like stucco or plaster.
- Assist with related tasks such as framing, metal stud framing, roofing prep, or masonry work as needed on site.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or equipment operation.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction tools, heavy equipment operation, and power tools.
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate execution of tasks.
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and surface treatments like tile laying or flooring installation.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including mixers and drills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for long work hours on-site.
