What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non Emergent Transport Provider position at HEARTLAND EMS INC?
This position is responsible for providing non-emergency transportation for patients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the daily check-off, cleaning, stocking, and fueling of their assigned unit
- Responsible for correctly completing all required paperwork and reports
- Responsible for the safe transport of wheelchair, stretcher, and ambulatory clients
- Responsible for maintaining a professional attitude in all HEMS related activities
- Participate in other EMS related functions as required and assigned
- Required to respond to the station in the event of a disaster
- All other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License
- Current CPR certification
- Current First Aid certification
- HIPAA compliance
**CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA training can be provided upon employment, if not currently held.**
