As Heartland Dental grows and streamlines processes, we are developing a new department to support our Operation partners and office teams by adding Senior Regional Support Administrators (SRSA). As a SRSA, you will report to the Director of Regional Support Administration (RSA) and serve as a strategic partner to the Director while leading a team of RSAs to drive operational excellence and growth across the organization. This leadership position requires strong management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset to align regional operations with the company’s overarching objectives.
Working closely with the Director of Operations for Regional Support, as well as two other Senior Regional Support Administrators, you will play a key role in the recruitment, selection, training, and coaching of Regional Support Administrators (RSAs) and Regional Ambassadors of Education (RAEs). By fostering collaboration and operational alignment, you will help ensure that RSAs and RAEs contribute effectively to Heartland Dental’s mission of empowering dental professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
In partnership with your peers, you will focus on enhancing regional support, driving performance improvements, and ensuring alignment with Heartland Dental’s strategic vision while also championing key value drivers such as initiatives, clinical operations leadership and education. Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
- Lead and mentor a team of 8 RSA/RAE ensuring optimal performance and collaboration to support organizational goals.
- Foster strong partnerships with two senior RSAs focusing on initiative roll out, Clinical operations leadership and education driving alignment and effective collaboration.
- Report directly to the Director of RSA, providing regular updates and strategic insights.
- Oversee the recruitment, training and onboarding of new RAE and RSA team members, ensuring a smooth integration process.
- Develop workforce planning, recruiting and retention strategy to maintain optimum performance of each supported practice.

- 5 years of progressive experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations.
- 3 years of experience at Heartland Dental.
- 3 years of experience in hiring, training, and leading teams.
- Strong ability to analyze business reports and provide strategic recommendations for departmental growth.
- Exceptional communication skills, serving as a key champion of value drivers by effectively representing initiatives, gathering valuable insights, and relaying critical information back to RSAs to drive strategic efforts.
- Ability to collaborate at a high level with Director, Senior RSA’s and RSA’s.
- Proven expertise in workforce planning, recruiting, and retention strategies to maintain optimal performance across supported practices.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead a team, fostering growth, collaboration, and high performance.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, resolve conflicts, and make timely decisions.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% (2 times/month) for company meetings and training.
- Expertise in managing both direct and indirect reports, with a focus on employee development.
- Advanced proficiency in Smartsheets, SAC, SAP, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
