IT Shipping and Receiving Technician, Information Technology
The IT Shipping and Receiving Technician position is primarily responsible for the shipping and receiving of IT equipment to our supported dental offices and field teams. This position will also assist in serving as a backup for provisioning new equipment for supported dental offices. The position will report to IT Distribution Management.

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
- Ship requested items from the queue daily, ensuring each shipment is accurate and properly documented
- Order and maintain inventory of IT equipment as needed
- Receive and reconcile inventory from vendors and rotate stock as needed
- Assist in monthly inventory stock count to verify all equipment is accounted for
- Receive returns and repairs from supported dental offices and reconcile with receiving ticketing system
- Remove hard drives from used equipment and process drives to HIPAA requirements
- Prepare and palletize large quantity of items for shipping to recycler
- Facilitate the selling of excess equipment via established wholesale vendors
- Prepare peripheral equipment such as printers, NAS boxes and SiriusXM for shipment to supported dental offices.
- Other projects as assigned
- Completion of one of the following: two years of IT experience OR an associate degree in a technology, business, or logistics related field.
- Practical knowledge of computer and network concepts
- Ability to physically lift 70 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate frequently with different departments and stakeholders
- Ability to interact with co-workers in a collegial manner to accomplish common tasks
- High level of maturity, personal initiative, and sound judgment
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous shipping experience
