Your Role
You'll become an essential part of the patient experience by helping create a comfortable, welcoming, and highly professional environment where the latest in dentistry is practiced.
Responsibilities include:
• Welcoming patients and helping them feel relaxed throughout treatment
• Reviewing health histories and preparing patients for procedures
• Taking digital radiographs, iTero scans, clinical photography, and other diagnostics
• Assisting chairside during a wide variety of procedures using four-handed dentistry
• Preparing treatment rooms while maintaining OSHA and CDC standards of infection control
• Managing supplies and inventory
• Utilizing Dentrix software for patient scheduling and record management
• Partnering closely with Dr. Samaha and the clinical team to continually improve patient care and office efficiency
Minimum Qualifications
• 4 years of dental assisting experience
• Virginia X-ray Certification
• Strong working experience of dental terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Preferred Experience
• 5 years in a dental setting
• Dentrix or other dental software experience
• Dental Assisting certification
• Interest and awareness of total health
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
- As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.

Salary : $15 - $31
