What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deposit Services Processor position at Heartland Credit Union?

What you will be doing:
- Performs daily, weekly and monthly monitoring and verification of selected reports
- Compiles research and tracking of member's requests and issues (record, track, research, and work with Deposit Services Supervisor or other designated departments)
- Coordinates with Retail staff in regard to management of daily maintenance, member correspondence and member research and to resolve outstanding issues for department work (tracking quality control issues)
- Processes and responds to subpoena, levy and garnishment requests from multiple agencies
- Provides employees support for POA, Trust and fiduciary accounts and questions
- Provides employee support for consumer, business, HSA, IRA, and Decedent accounts
- Responds to asset verifications received from Social Security and Medicaid.
- Conducts daily review and validation of dormant member transactions
- Performs maintenance and insider relationship tracking on employee accounts
What you will need:
- 1-2 years of working in a financial institution, Working with new account origination and member service
- Understanding compliance in relation to deposit account servicing to include BSA and Truth in Savings
- Communication skills, Organizational and analytical skills, Ability to meet deadlines, Attention to detail, Ability to multitask
